Trane Commercial has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Consultant to join our Ohio Sales Team. The Business Development Consultant is responsible for networking and developing customer relationships, working primarily in the K-12 market. This role will be responsible for working with assigned Account Executives towards building a sales pipeline, making concept presentations, and qualifying the potential for a comprehensive solution or energy services offering. These projects would primarily use ESSER funding and meet the ESSER Use of Funds requirements. This role does not require a deep technical understanding of the HVAC, energy, lighting, and mechanical industries; however, a broad general working knowledge is a plus. This role does require the ability to be self-directed and work effectively to market and position our sales executives with decision makers Superintendents and Treasurers.
