Coordinator of PK-12 Personalized and Digital Learning – Dublin City Schools
Duties:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supports the implementation of the District’s strategic initiatives.
- Provides district leadership and professional support in regards to personalized and digital learning for students.
- Maintains knowledge of and communicate current research findings and forecasts related to the effective use of technology in the district’s educational program.
- Provides current, cutting-edge information to support decision-making on academic and administrative matters.
- Serves as the primary leader for the district’s digital learning environment, including LMS management and implementation.
- Provides support for families in navigating district classroom technology.
- Champions changes in curriculum design and delivery in conjunction with administrators.
- Ensures that all educators have access to the appropriate digital curriculum tools for learning (including curriculum software purchasing, onboarding and rostering).
- Focuses on ensuring that technology resources are used safely and responsibly.
- Oversees assigned administrative aspects of technology programs as it relates to instructional technology in the district.
- Monitors the performance of educational technology systems and makes recommendations to enhance student and teacher experience.
- Effectively allocates and manages resources to support strategic priorities and initiatives.
- Ensures oversight of industry-standard related practices and procedures of regulations and guidelines as they relate to the purchase and use of software (specifically copyright laws and the use of licensed equipment and materials and COPPA).
- Develops and monitors an annual instructional technology budget in cooperation with appropriate stakeholders.
- Works collaboratively with the District Technology Team to ensure education technology initiatives align with systems and infrastructure.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Proven track record of integrating technology into a classroom setting, understanding the role of technology in amplifying student learning.
- Experience working with various technology platforms, software, hardware and operating systems in education.
- Proven record of accomplishment in technology planning and technology personnel management, ideally in a K-12 academic setting.
- Experience preparing and managing budgets.
- Proven track record of effective project management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Broad knowledge of industry standards and best practices in the use of technology in schools, including Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Professional presence and service orientation.
- Proven track record of thinking big, managing multiple priorities, working with ambiguity and delegating.

Experience Required:
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Administrative License.
- Advanced Degree in Educational Technology or related field preferred.
- K-12 teaching experience under a valid teaching license
Wage or Salary: Based on Administrative Salary Schedule Approximate Work Hours or Days: 246 days per year
