Duties
Position Description: Assists the superintendent in leading and managing the effective delivery and advancement of district services and operations.
• 260 Days Per Year (12 months)
• Start Date: August 1, 2024 Start Date.
• The salary and benefits package will be competitive within the region and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Position Qualifications:
• Valid state department of education administrative license/certificate as determined at the time of appointment. Superintendent License preferred.
• At least five years of teaching experience, and five years of district office and/or building level administrative experience preferred in human resources, curriculum, instruction, assessments, staff development, intervention programs, PBIS, student services (special education, gifted, ELL, Title IX, OCR, health, social, registration, homeless, food, transportation), OPES, and facilities planning.
• Educational administration, curriculum/instruction and school finance skills substantiated by training and relevant work experience.
• Adheres to the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators.
• Articulates a clear educational philosophy and sustainable implementation strategy.
• Complies with drug-free workplace rules, board policies and administrative guidelines/procedures, and federal and state laws.
• Embodies high ethical standards/integrity. Accepts personal responsibility for decisions/conduct.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and develop effective interpersonal relationships.
• Exhibits consistent, impartial and resourceful decision-making skills. Interprets information accurately. Evaluates options thoroughly. Develops reasonable solutions to resolve issues.
• Maintains a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
• Meets all mandated health screening requirements.
• Alternatives to these qualifications as deemed appropriate by the superintendent and the Board of Education.

 

Experience Required
At least five years of teaching experience, and five years of district office and/or building level administrative experience preferred in human resources, curriculum, instruction, assessments, staff development, intervention programs, PBIS, student services (special education, gifted, ELL, Title IX, OCR, health, social, registration, homeless, food, transportation), OPES, and facilities planning.

 

Wage or Salary
