The Educational Diversity Specialist will contribute to the creation and promotion of robust, highly competitive, and equitable experiences that advance Invention Education. The Educational Diversity Specialist must have demonstrated success in establishing, maintaining, and advancing relationships and implementing cutting edge programming and partnerships within the education sphere.
Coordinate the successful creation, implementation, and support of diversity initiatives, programs, and curricula Serve as a liaison to the Education and LDI (Large District Implementation) teams, providing expertise and support in developing culturally-responsive curricula and experiences that empower all students to succeed Use data to create innovative curricula that supports and promotes student achievement, particularly for children in low-SES communities Develop original age-appropriate, multi-cultural content, research, product development/writing, and testing and breakthrough creative programming and products Work within a professional team to create reliable, high quality programming Observe activities in the classroom as they are tested and identify strengths and weaknesses, practicing educational evaluation methods Stay current on educational market and trends Brainstorm and pitch ideas for content development with the creative team Research multi-cultural and scientific content and background information for curriculum Attend various workshops, seminars, and conferences to continuously update professional knowledge Maintain project schedules, budgets and timelines
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experienced, confident, engaging presenter Creativity and a true passion for creating high-quality, innovative content that engages and entertains children Experience working within large school districts, as well as the methods to successfully support them Must possess strong writing skills Fantastic ability to relate and connect student’s mindset Excellent research, and organizational skills Experience with formal or informal educational settings Ability to receive creative direction and feedback Excellent team and collaborative skills Availability to travel up to 25% of the time
Credentials and Experience:
2+ years of diversified curriculum design, implementation and testing
Bachelors degree in education or related field
