To effectively gather and disseminate accurate information about the South-Western City School District to the district’s audiences through written communications, visual presentations, speaking engagements, and other electronic communications.

Experience Required:

A bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, marketing, or related field with experience; Five years of experience and study/training in the areas of communications or marketing (educational communications preferred); Excellent writing, public speaking, and human relations skills; Research, organization, development, and planning skills required; Experience in media relations and message development; The ability to work in Google, Microsoft, and Adobe environments for the creation of documents, websites, spreadsheets and database management, basic graphic design, and the production of presentation materials; Experience with various social media platforms; The ability to build and maintain a high level of trust and credibility with colleagues, employees, and the community

 

Wage or Salary: Competitive

Approximate Work Hours or Days: 260 days
