As the School Leader, one will assume administrative responsibility for the planning, operation, supervision and evaluations of the education programs, services and facilities of the school and for the annual appraisal of school staff. The School Leader will provide educational and executive leadership to the school, community, staff, programs, activities and operations.

The School Leader assumes administrative responsibility for the planning, operation, supervision and evaluations of the education programs, services, and facilities of the school and for the annual appraisal of school staff.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
Manage regulatory complexities and political sensitivities; implement the school’s mission, vision, and strategic planning initiatives.
Enforce all provisions of law and all rules and regulations relating to the management of the school and other educational, social and recreational activities.
Develops, implements and maintains strategic plans.
Oversee implementation of the school marketing and enrollment plans directed by Director to achieve and maintain enrollment capacity.
Use multiple sources of data to assess student achievement and school improvement.
Assures that the laws and regulations of the Ohio Department of Education and the district are faithfully executed.
Ensure teachers and staff exhibit and maintain a high level of professionalism, instructional support and customer service.
Manages the school budget, purchase of goods and services, accountability for expenditures and reports the financial position to the management company and board.
Participates in all board meetings by assisting the board in development of the meeting agenda, preparing background materials and analysis of issues brought to the board, and by preparing recommendation on all issues brought to the board for decisions.
Manage relationships with the department of education, charter authorizer and stakeholders.
Assist staff with implementation of program changes, and/or new software application introductions.
Ensure the facility is properly maintained and adequate provision is made for the safety of employees, students, parents and visitors.
Maintain current and actionable knowledge of any developments in state, federal, and local laws and public policy affecting education.
Ensure the execution of all decisions of the management company and/or board.
Support staff development and other professional development programs.
Oversee the implementation and coordination of state standardized testing process, and ensure high student participation rates.
Oversee the contracting and/or deliver of special education services to ensure that the school is in compliance with state and federal laws.
10+ years of school leadership experience.
Master’s degree in educational administration or Education related field Valid Ohio School Administrative Certification Valid Ohio Superintendent Certification
