Superintendent – Loudonville-Perrysville EVS

Duties:

The Loudonville-Perrysville Exempted Village School District Board of Education invites applicants who have a commitment to strong, positive board/superintendent relations.  The successful candidate will possess the following qualities and characteristics:

• Knowledge and experience in all aspects of school district leadership and operations, including budget development, capital planning, curriculum, human resources, and public relations
• Decisive, comprehensive educational leadership with a student-centered view of education, a working knowledge of curriculum and instruction, and a commitment to the development of ALL students
• Excellent speaking and listening skills, and an openness to ideas expressed by the board, staff, parents, students, and community
• Commitment to visibility, accessibility, and engagement with all stakeholders to strengthen the school community
• Integrity and high standards of honesty, ethics, and personal conduct
• Ability to instill trust through engaging the community and staff at all levels
• Ability to institute change where needed while recognizing and maintaining successful existing programs
• High energy leadership and a personality that connects on an individual and collective level with district staff and community

 

Experience Required:

– A valid Ohio School Superintendent License or evidence that one is obtainable

– Demonstrates knowledge and skill in the areas of instructional leadership, school finance, and business operations

– An innovative educational leader with a strong background in student achievement

– Good communicator and listener who is intentionally transparent, visible, accessible, collaborative, and interactive with school and community stakeholders

– Be a relationship builder that understands the communities’ culture, history, tradition and basic values

 

Wage or Salary: The actual salary will be regionally competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package is included.
