Treasurer/CFO – Barberton City Schools

The Barberton City Schools Board of Education is seeking applicants for the position of Treasurer/CFO.

The new Treasurer/CFO will assist the school district in achieving the goals and action steps of the

district in the following areas:

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

-At least a Bachelor’s Degree

-Appropriate Ohio Treasurer’s Certificate/License

-Successful public sector financial experience

-Demonstrated excellent inter-personal skills

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Successful experience in community engagement and maintaining community, credibility

-Strong interpersonal skills to relate effectively with the Board of Education, staff, students, parents, and community

-Successful experience in community engagement and maintaining community credibility

-Strong team leadership skills and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively as a member of an administrative team

-Ability to create and maintain an atmosphere of respect and trust

SALARY AND CONTRACT:

The successful candidate will be offered a multi-year contract. The salary and benefits package will

be competitive within the region and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
