Duties:

Duties:

             Establish and maintain long-range fiscal and building plans and prepare the annual budget based on District resources and needs

             Ensure that all District fiscal activities comply with the laws and regulations of the State, the negotiated agreements and policies of the Board, and the initiatives of the Superintendent.

             Provide for efficient management of the District fiscal systems of purchasing and supply management.

             Ensure that proper licensing is maintained by all employees.

             Program Coordinator for District Health Insurance

             Perform other such duties as the Board may direct.

 

Experience Required:

Experience Required:

  1. Valid State of Ohio Treasurer’s License or ability to obtain.
  2. Strong communicator and ability to participate in district initiatives as a team member. .
  3. Successful experience in school finance, financial management as a school district Treasurer/CFO, and or leading an organization/company.
  4. Strong team leadership skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of the district Leadership Team.
  5. Knowledge of school administration, Ohio school finance, and Ohio school law.
  6. Proficient technology skills and knowledge of eFinance Plus.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills to relate effectively with the Board of Education, staff members, students, parents, and community members.
  8. Ability to create and maintain an atmosphere of respect and trust.
  9. Additional qualifications as specified by the Chippewa Local School District Board of Education.

 

Wage or Salary: $80,000-$100,000 (based upon experience) Approximate Work Hours or Days: 260 Days

Commensurate with experience, the Board of Education is prepared to offer the final candidate a multi-year contract and competitive benefits package with yearly salary ranging between $80,000-$100,000.
