NORDONIA HILLS CITY SCHOOLS TREASURER VACANCY

The Nordonia Hills City Schools Board of Education is seeking applicants for the position of Treasurer/CFO. The new Treasurer/CFO will assist the school district in achieving the goals and action steps of the district in the following areas:

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Current Ohio public school Treasurer license
  • Successful experience as a public-school Treasurer or comparable experience
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Demonstrated record of fiscal and management credibility
  • Successful experiences with using technology in the Treasurer’s office
  • Successful experience in community and parent engagement
  • Successful School Board Member relationships
  • Demonstrated record of success as a contributing member of the senior management team
  • Demonstrated ability to provide building level fiscal support
  • Demonstrated understanding of Ohio school funding

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bond issue experience including levy campaign experience and bond issuance experience
  • General Fund tax levy campaign experience
  • Successful experience in the preparation of the annual CAFR
  • Ability to be actively engaged with the daily operations of the Treasurer’s office
  • Experience with eFinance Plus
  • Philosophical commitment to and passion for public education

The successful candidate will be offered a multi-year contract. The salary and benefits package will be competitive within the region and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
